Angela Akins Gracia was a teenager who enjoyed sports and began playing golf. In her early years she discovered a love for sports, and she decided to start playing golf. Her skills improved as she grew older and won over eight tournaments while she was in high school. Garcia was co-captain on the Mable Falls High school golf team between 2003 and in 2006, guided the team to a 3rd-place finish in regional competition. It is no doubt that the lady is a professional golfer. In the past, she has earned over 17 gold medals at the National level. Additionally, she is part of the Women's Texas Golf Association. Following her graduation from high school Garcia was admitted to Texas Christain University studied there for a few years before transferring to The University of Texas. After arriving at Texas Christain University she was introduced to a competitive setting that made it easier for her to improve her golfing skills. Angela Akin Garcia, despite having found joy and satisfaction playing professional golfer, had no intention of going into the profession. Instead, she opted to study the field of journalism. She landed her first job upon graduation, as a Fox Sports Southwest Reporter.
